5 New Shows I'm Watching This Fall

I absolutely love spending my down-time relaxing with a great television show. But, there are so many different kinds on tv these days and it's hard to sift through until you find what you like. So, check out what new shows I'm watching this Fall and find a good show for you without wasting precious relaxation time!

How to Get Away with Murder:
If you're a fan of Grey's Anatomy and/or Scandal then you'll know what kind of riveting roller coaster you'll be for with this brand new Shonda Rhimes (the creator of both Grey's and Scandal) drama. The shows follows 5 law students as they work for their professor and highly-sought-after defense attorney (played by the amazing Viola Davis.) For the most part, each episode focuses on a new defense case, but also gives you clues to an even bigger story that breaks throughout the season. Every episode will have you on the edge of your seat! The is definitely my Fall Favorite!

GracePoint:

Though it's still in the first few episodes of the season, I've really started to like this mysterious drama. The plot surrounds the suspicious death of a young boy and the detectives (played by David Tennet of Dr Who, and XX from Breaking Bad) that try to piece together clues. Each episode reveals more about the murder and will have you piecing together puzzles and hints to find the real culprit! This show is definitely slower than How to Get Away With Murder but so far has a pretty solid plot and great actors.

Selfie:
In the 2014 age of social media, this sitcom is fits right in. It's about a girl who's entire life revolves around her virtual presence, until she finally realizes that she has no real friends or live social skills. So of course, she hires a Marketing Executive from her company to help re-brand her and her life! This show is light-hearted, funny and entertaining for viewers of any age. So happy that I gave this show a try.

Gotham:
I planned to skip this show at first, since I'm not big into comics or the Batman story-line. But after hearing great things from a co-worker of mine, I decided to give it a shot. While I'm sure the plot-line would be all the more compelling if you're a fan of the comic books, it's definitely not necessary! I've had no problems keeping up with the story-line and it's characters. This show has a great mix of action, drama and mystery that keeps each episode interesting and, usually, pretty shocking!

American Horror Story:

Although I haven't watching American Horror Story since the first season at the "Murder House," I had to add the newest season of Freak Show to this list. First, let me warn you that this show is certainly not for the faint of heart. With violence, horror and a strong sexual undertone, this show can be a bit much for many viewers. That being said, if you're looking for a show that's going to keep you on the edge of your seat week after week, this would be that show! Not to mention, the cast is full of people (such as Amazon Jane and Paul the Illustrated Seal) who have lived their whole lives being called freaks, and now they are getting the spotlight the recognition they deserve! Go check out American Horror Story's Facebook page for some Actor Spotlights that are pretty incredible!
