My 5 Favorite Do-It's of EasilyDo

I wrote about the EasilyDo app before in my Apps To Keep You On Track post but really, I can't recommend it enough. In fact, I believe in the app so much, I serve as a voluntary Brand Ambassador for them! Let me assure you, I would never agree to such a thing unless I totally and fully believed in the service, product and mission of the company. They revolve entirely around making users' lives easier... which of course is something I'm completely behind! I mean, isn't that what we're all looking for-- ease and simplicity in our every day lives!? Check out below how much time EasilyDo has saved me in just 9 months!

This is why you NEED to download the free app and try it out. The app connects to your contacts, calendar, email, social media sites, GPS and more! It manages your entire life within the one app and sends you notifications and reminders as needed. With so many awesome features, it's tough to describe them all! So, instead, I've compiled my 5 Favorite Do Its!

1. Daily Commute Estimates: Add your home address and your work address to the app; set a time to notify (I set mine for 30 minutes before I plan to leave for work.) The app will use real-time GPS, weather and traffic updates to notify you of your commute time. Every morning, at 7:30am, I get a notification that usually says 14 minutes.
2. Package Tracking: EasilyDo integrates with your email so when you receive a tracking/shipping number, the app will track it for you!
3. Important Facebook Posts: Too busy to access Facebook on a daily basis? But you still want to stay up to date on your friends' new jobs, pregnancy announcements, engagement photos, etc? EasilyDo will collect important and noteworthy posts from your Facebook friends and you can even like/comment from within the EasilyDo app!
4. Calendar Reminders: Meeting, Party, Event? EasilyDo will make sure that you remember. It will send notifications like "You have a Business Meeting in 15 minutes." It's great for remembering conference calls, webinars, etc.!
5. Add Contact Info from Email: Receive an email from a new contact? EasilyDo will seamlessly integrate their information (like phone number, email, address, etc.) into your phone contact list. How could it get any easier?!

For the Ladies: A Strong Beer with a Sweet Taste

For all of my beer lovers out there, you've most likely heard of the Victory Brewing Company. They're most well known for beers like HopDevil, HeadWaters, Storm King, DirtWolf, and of course, Golden Monkey. Now, I've never been a fan of Golden Monkey. It's Belgian-style Tripel made with whole flower European hops and coriander seed and is pretty strong tasting at 9.5% alcohol. So, when my boyfriend's friends wanted to go to Victory Brewing Company (in Downingtown) this past Saturday for the White Monkey Release Breakfast, I wasn't super thrilled about the new twist on the classic ale.

Now, White Monkey is the classic Golden Monkey ale, aged in white wine, chardonnay barrels. This has infused a lighter and sweeter taste to the beer. While it still registers at a whopping 9.5% alcohol content, it really is delicious! I was shocked as to how much I really enjoyed the White Monkey. While at the brewing company, we enjoyed an awesome brunch and celebrated this new release! We even bought some awesome swag including this Golden Monkey glass and a new t-shirt for Jimmy!

Keep in mind, White Monkey will only be available for a limited time so check out www.VictoryBeer.com to see where you can get it near you! Again, this is totally a beer I'd recommend for women. Just be careful with that 9.5% or before you know it, White Monkey will put you on your butt!!

Also, if you've never visited the Victory Brewery in Downtingtown, PA, I highly recommend it. They offer brewery tours, have great merchandise for super reasonable prices and have an entire large restaurant and bar. I had a ton of fun at the Release Breakfast and will definitely be looking forward to seeing White Monkey in my local establishments.

Your Guide to Creating the Perfect Party Guest List

Throwing a fabulous shindig is not easy, by any means. But there are definitely some parts that are more difficult than others. When it comes to food, you just have to make your specialties. As for music, you can just turn on some Pandora. For alcohol, well, alcohol is alcohol so you really can't go wrong! But as far as the guest list, ay yi yi. Let's face it; you're a social butterfly. You know so many people of all different ages, lifestyles, and personalities. But you can't invite them all!!!! So how do you decide who to include and who to save for your next soiree. Well, with a little guidance from the book, Twentysomething Girl: 1001 Quick Tips and Tricks to Make Your Life Easier, I've compiled everything you need to know and ask yourself when putting together that kick ass guest list!

When deciding on a specific person, here are the 3 Key Things to Ask Yourself:

  • Have you seen this person in the past year?
  • Do they invite you to their parties?
  • Do you enjoy their company?

Answer yes to all of these questions and you're golden! Answer no to all of them and you might want to pass on this person for the time being. How about if you answer yes and no? Well then the decision is entirely up to you! Remember, always follow your gut when making such decisions!

After asking yourself those 3 definitive questions, here are some Extra Things to Consider:

  • Is there anybody that you want to reconnect with? And would this be an good opportunity to do so?
  • Do you have any additional, party agendas?
    • Introducing some single friends to one another
    • Inviting people with kids the same age as your own
    • Etc.
  • What generation(s) will your party be geared toward?
  • What party size are you aiming for?
    • Small and intimate?
    • Casually sized get together?
    • A large bash?

Now, once you've finalized your guest list, it's time to worry about invitations. How early is too early?! How late is too late?! Follows these guidelines of When to Send Invites to Guests:

  • 3 months for an event Save the Date
  • 2 weeks if the event is themed
  • 1 week if the event is formal
  • 2 days if the event is a casual get-together

Keep in mind, these tips are for parties, events and get-togethers, not weddings (well all know that's a wholeeeeeeeeee nother ball game.) So don't waste your time sweating the small stuff. Use these guidelines to help you plan out of your guest list and invite the people you WANT to be around most! Just remember, no matter who you invite (or don't invite) the party will be a blast!!! So relax and party on!!

What guidelines do you use when creating a guest list?

3 Ways to be Charitable On-The-Go

Giving to charity is something that I'm sure most of you are passionate about, just like I am. However, sometimes you just don't have the extra time or money to contribute. Well thankfully, I've found some ways that I CAN contribute... and they each take mere minutes, even seconds! If everyone could contribute just a few minutes to charity on a daily basis, there could be a world of difference!

Check out these 3 ways that you can be charitable on the go:

UNICEF Tap Project
This project encourages us to do something that may be difficult for some... put down your phone!! Access www.UnicefTapProject.org on your smartphone and click began. Now put your phone down an for every 10 minutes you go without touching it, UNICEF will donate a full day of clean water to a child in need. Yesterday, I put my phone down at work for a whole hour and 10 minutes. This equated to enough clean water for a child for a whole week! I was so happy to be able to contribute and it felt great to put my phone down and disconnect for a while. Join me in putting down my phone for at least 10 minutes every day!

All you have to do is visit www.FreeRice.com. For every multiple choice, vocabulary questions you answer correctly, FreeRice will donate 10 grains of rice to people in need. The questions are great brain exercises and you can answer questions and before you know it, you can donate cups and cups of rice! I've heard of teachers using this in their classrooms, as well! Donating is easy, fun and totally engaging; there's no excuse not to!

Check out how many grains of rice were donated in past years! 5,726,897,740 grains donated in 2013!!! Amazing!!!

www.GreaterGood.org
GreaterGood has multiple sites that make it so easy to donate. My personal favorites are www.TheBreastCancerSite.com and www.TheAutismSite.com. Literally, all you have to do is visit the site and click the button. That's it! TheBreastCancerSite donates mammograms for every click and TheAutismSite donates hours of therapy for children in need. They also have sites for animals, veterans, hunger, you name it! Also, each site has it's own set of really awesome memorabilia. So if it's a cause that you're passion about, you can purchase some awesome merchandise and support even further! Donating to charity really can't get much easier than this. TIP: Save these sites to your favorites list and visit once a day like I do! Every click makes a difference so spread the word and getting clicking!

False Lash Tips from a Celebrity MakeUp Artist

This weekend, I finally had a chance to wear the KISS Lashes that I received in my Influenster J'Adore VoxBox. I had been saving them for a special occasion (a night in Atlantic City,) but I quickly learned that I didn't need to! These lashes are definitely called "Looks So Natural" for a reason. They just add a little bit of length and a little bit of thickness so you can really wear them for any occasion.
My glammed up eyes with Kiss Looks So Natural Lashes
Now, it's been a while since I've worn false lashes so fortunately, last week @KissProducts had an hour-long Twitter Takeover by Celebrity Makeup Artist, Kristofer Buckle. He's worked with stars like Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera and Mariah Carey. His work has been featured in magazines like Allure and Vogue, advertising campaigns for Christian Dior and Dooney & Bourke, on the red carpet and in movies like Burlesque. So basically... I'M TAKING ANY AND ALL BEAUTY ADVICE HE GIVES!

I've compiled Kristofer's best lash tips from the Twitter Takeover and even got my own question answered!!!
  • "Lashes are reusable, so store them in the tray! You can use them multiple times if treated with care."
  • "If your brows are lower go with a shorter lash style. Better proportion!"
  • "Every pair of lashes has a right eye and a left eye!"
  • "Eyelash glues have latex, but if you have an allergy to latex Kiss makes a latex-free glue..so enjoy!"
  • "It's worth the wait! Wait at least 30 seconds before applying to eye to allow the glue to get tacky for better adhering."
The Twitter Takeover was super informational and by following these tips, I was able to apply the lashes so easily and effortlessly. In fact, I forgot I had them on, slept in them and didn't take them off until the following day. I'm not joking when I say they still looked perfect the next morning!

So follow these tips and rock some fierce falsies whenever your heart desires!

"I received this product complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes."
