Essential [free] Apps to Keep You on Track

Hey Fly Ladies, if you're anything like me, you're phone is glued to your side all day, every day. So, why not take advantage of your device and make your "on the fly" life a little easier. Check out my list of must-have free apps that will certainly do the trick!

Key Ring

This app is a MUST for shopaholics and couponers! Clear up the clutter of store loyalty cards, gift cards and membership cards by scanning and storing them in Key Ring. Then, all the store has to do is scan the barcode. It’s truly that easy! Also, the app allows you to enroll in new loyalty programs and get exclusive coupons and discounts. Download the app and experience the immediate benefits!

Walk Star

Walk Star is the best and easiest pedometer app. It’s accurate and will give you stats about your average speed, the time you walked and more! It even gives you a star rating based on how close you got to the 10,000 steps-per-day goal. But best of all, you can use other apps, answer calls, listen to music, lock your phone AND the pedometer will still count within the app. How convenient is that?! Love this.

Mint.com

I’ve been looking for helpful personal finance and budgeting methods for about a year now and I’m happy to say that I’ve finally found one that does everything! Mint.com is a password-protected app that connects to your credit and debit cards. This one app will display your transaction history, help you to set category budgets and will send phone alerts about unusual spending, low funds or over-budgeting. It's perfect for the budgeting and managing of your finances in an easy and convenient way. Try it out for yourself!

Lumosity

I always hear that exercising your brain is just as important as exercising your body. But, please tell me who has time for daily crossword puzzles or sodukus; I certainly don’t! Thankfully, Lumosity exists. The app will create a personalized training program to improve memory, problem solving, attention and focus. Here’s the best part-- it happens through a series of challenging games that take only minutes per day! The app will then track your performance based on your scores. I’ve been getting better and better every day so I can’t even imagine the long-term effects!

Easily.do

I’d say that everyone is important enough to deserve a personal assistant. And now you can actually have one at your fingertips! Easily.do connects to your calendar, contacts, email, Facebook, Twitter, and more. You can totally customize it to send you alerts about things like Facebook birthdays, weather, traffic, and calendar events.  Since downloading this app a week ago, Easily.do has helped me merge duplicated contacts, post on my friends’ Facebook walls, and add contact information from my emails, all at the touch of a button, LITERALLY!
